NEW DAY, NEW TIME

LOCAL COMMUNITY COMING TOGETHER TO HAVE FUN AND BENEFIT LOCAL TEENAGERS

Youth for Christ invites the whole community to come together for the third annual YFC Summerfest on Friday, August 4th, 6-9pm, to enjoy a wonderful time with friends and families, and raise much needed funds to make a difference in the lives of area teens. We have partnered with Main Street Greenville to hold the event during the Artisan Stroll First Friday. So there will be all kinds of things to do downtown on the 4th. YFC Summerfest will take place in all three of the parking lots that surround the Youth for Christ Ministry Center located at 107 W. Main St. in Greenville. “Just feet from the fountain,” in Greenville. YFC Summerfest will have live music by local artists, fun free carnival games provided by church and organization partners, delicious food from various food vendors, and our own game called "Flush Bucket" where local community leaders and pastors are guaranteed to get all wet for a minimal fee. We also have something NEW THIS YEAR: Axe Throwing, where participants get to try their skills at throwing an axe at a target, minimal fee will be collected. To top it off, there is a "Toss for Teens" Corn Hole Tournament where 20-24 teams will play during the festival to raise funds to benefit the lives of area teenagers. Festival business sponsors also aid in the fundraising effort. Cornhole teams, event sponsors, game organizations and churches and workers are still being sought.
