On April 4th and 5th, students gathered from all over Darke County for our fifth Discipleship NOW conference at Radiant and Grace Churches. Our hope was for every young person to understand what it truly means to give Jesus everything, by giving him control. This has become a staple event for our local churches, as well as YFC. This year we reached a new milestone with over 200 students and leaders as several youth ministries joined for the first time!
It remains a continued focus to see our young people grow in their faith and to put it into action through worship, discipleship, and outreach in the community. This year for outreach, we delivered 240 care packages to our first responders in Greenville, Arcanum, and New Madison. We finished with a Crosswalk in Greenville and a time of worship and prayer at Annie Oakley Park.
There are many student testimonies I could share from the event, but I would like to emphasize one moment of impact. For the last several years, we have concluded our Saturday night service with a time of repentance and prayer. Leaders stood surrounding the students, while the students were free to go to them individually for prayer. The Holy Spirit moves. It’s often at this time that many students make decisions for Christ, and this year we know of at least 10 students who made first time faith decisions! Praise Jesus!!!
Please be praying for our students who were impacted by the gospel on this special weekend. We look forward to seeing what God will do again through this event in 2026!
