Cross Con 2026

“Fire!”, “Amazing!”, “Awesome!” and “I’m coming next year!” are some of the words we heard from our students at the end of Cross Con 2026.

On the first day of 2026, nineteen upperclassmen and recently graduated High School students and five leaders piled into vans and cars to head to the Louisville Convention Center for Cross Conference 2026. Nineteen teenagers decided to get up early on New Year’s Day and spend the very first few days of the year with 12,000 other young people who were also hungering for God’s Word, for truth, for more of Jesus in their life.

Hearing from teachers like John Piper and David Platt, hearing from overseas missionaries serving in countries where Christianity is forbidden, and singing songs of worship with thousands of young people was an experience that will not soon be forgotten.

When we asked the students what their take away was from the conference, Emmie replied “to learn more Bible verses.”

Zack said “First time! So cool to connect with everybody who came for the same purpose – to praise God – and to learn new things from others that gave you a new way of looking into the Word.”

Carter told us “I felt the power of God move through me and the people around me. Seeing the different paths that God has chosen for people and seeing if any of those paths align with my purpose.”

Chloe said her take away was the word “unwavering”.

Donnie commented that “Jesus loves us and the best way to figure out what God’s plan for our life is, is to follow His Word. You’re only missing the path when you’re not on the path.”

Alyssa and Kara both agreed that every country needs God and many should go, but others need to stay and reach people right around us here in the U.S. We are lucky in the U.S. with the ability to share so easily while other countries have a much harder time.

YFC plans to take a group to Cross Con 2027 which will be held in St. Louis, MO. If you would like to help one or more students with their registration cost for next year, reach out to office@yfcmv.org or call 937 548-2477.
