Hey. I’m Kevin Justice, the youth pastor and
worship director at Pleasant View Missionary Church. I have been volunteering with Youth for Christ for several years. I am excited about a new opportunity to bring Youth for Christ to the Village of Bradford school district as a local site leader for Youth for Christ. This is even more special for me since I have two children that graduated from Bradford High School. My daughter is teaching kindergarten there and my son is an assistant coach for the football team. It is where I live and a great mission field!
In our divisive world, we often see how negative our culture has become and we complain. I am so glad that we can do more than just complain; we can make a positive impact in our culture by bringing the love of Jesus into our local schools with the help and leadership of Youth for Christ.
I will lead a program that is focused on helping teens grow in their faith and learn to live their faith out well in the school and community they live in. I will engage the teens in Biblical teaching and help equip them with resources to help them practically in life. One of the greatest assets that the teens have is each other. I want to see the teens grow their faith in Jesus and their trust in one another to be able to navigate the tough waters of teenage life together as we are encouraged to do in 1 Peter 4:8-10.
Ultimately, our goal at Youth for Christ is to help teenagers get plugged into a local church where they can grow in their faith and be connected to the church. I am excited to see what God will do as we begin this new adventure in Bradford! Please be in prayer for this new exciting area of ministry for Youth for Christ!
