“Campus Life has given me a different perspective on my faith and has given me a new opportunity to grow myself and see my friends grow. It’s given me a place to be bold in my faith and confidence to show Who my life is for. A place where students from different churches can come together and create a community and safe place where kids who might not go to church or know Jesus can come and feel at home.”
Titus Palmer is a junior at Arcanum. Over the past 4 years, he has come to Campus Life on Monday nights in Arcanum and has been a beautiful example of how God can use a Christian kid who grew up in the church to come alongside friends and peers he has met at school and use the ministry to serve and further the kingdom.
“Having the opportunity to grow spiritually myself and share what I know in small groups has been awesome. Being able to grow together and helping is worth so much.”
Over this past year especially, Titus has been an integral reason one of our Campus Life boys came to know Christ and started going to church. They started coming to Campus Life last winter and because of a relationship built, Titus invited him to church and through a trip there, we got the privilege of seeing that student come to know Christ for the first time and just last month get baptized! Now they sit next to each other every week in the front row on Sundays. What an amazing picture of the mission!

This past summer, Titus hosted a bonfire event at his home and got the opportunity to share his testimony and God’s Word with over 30 students! At Campus Life, it is important to give student leaders the chance to share and serve. Hearing your peers take a stand and be willing to share their story helps unchurched kids feel more understood and relate when they see one of their own up there. It even helps other Christian students feel more bold in their faith!
“When I shared at the bonfire this summer, kids were actually willing to listen to me and they all genuinely wanted to learn. It was a really powerful moment for me.”
Praise God for students like Titus who are willing to come alongside their friends and reach the lost. It has been a privilege to watch him grow into that and to grow himself in his faith over the years.
“Youth for Christ gives students like me a massive opportunity to learn about Christ and be pushed in a different way at a young age. It gives kids a place with loving and caring leaders and staff who display the love that Christ has shown us all. It’s a place to talk about anything and grow in our journey and with each other. It gives us all a second home.”
