Winter Camp has come and gone and we were blessed to take two vans full of students to Michigan for a few days at SpringHill Camp. We joined about 550 students in activities from horseback riding to rock climbing, gaga ball to extreme crate stacking. The fun factor was high but the worship experience was integral and the Biblical teaching was both relevant and thought provoking. The weather might have been cold, but the atmosphere was ON FIRE.
As expected, our teens were impacted greatly by the daily teaching from the talented speaker. We were especially glad to be able to spend time spiritually counseling the students as a group and participating in multiple prayer times and discussions. Camp is always a lot of fun, but the fact that we can slow down and spend time together building relationships makes the trip more than worthwhile.
