It was a beautiful evening for cornhole, carnival games, food trucks and live music. If you missed Summerfest this year on
Friday evening, August 4th, go ahead and pencil it in for the first Friday in August for 2024. This year, Summerfest was held in conjunction with Downtown Greenville’s First Friday event and it was a great success with at least double the crowd in attendance from years past.
Summerfest was a great opportunity to interact with the community, give family and friends a chance to spend time together in a fun atmosphere and a chance to raise needed funds to keep the ministry of YFC moving forward. Summerfest brought in $23,500, thanks to businesses and individuals sponsoring the event, the flush bucket participants, those who tried their hand at axe throwing and the money raised by cornhole players in the cornhole tournament that took place that day.
