Make a Difference in the Life of a Teenager in Matt's Memory
Matt Knight, son of Eric and Jenny Knight of Greenville, OH, and brother of Jon (Rachel) Knight and uncle of Afton and Iris Knight of Arcanum, OH, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 26th, 2022. Matt enjoyed playing disc golf, hiking, backpacking, and spending time with his family and friends. He was always involved in youth ministries and had had a love of the outdoors. Therefore, his family finds it extremely appropriate to invite family and friends to make a memorial contribution to the Matt Knight Memorial Trip Scholarship Fund with Youth for Christ of the Miami Valley. YFC connects with teenagers in their own environment, but as teens become more involved and Christ-sharing relationships start to develop, many will decide to go on a retreat, adventure, or mission trip. On these trips, many teens make spiritual steps forward by becoming open to Jesus, accepting Him into their lives, or growing in the faith they already had. This scholarship fund will make it possible for more teenagers to be able to participate that otherwise wouldn’t have the financial means to participate.
