NEW THIS YEAR…. You may have heard mention of “Give Life 360” in the past few months and we are now ready to LAUNCH this new initiative! Give Life 360 consists of a team of people who give financially to the cause of YFCMV on a monthly basis at a minimum of $30 per month. The goal of this initiative is to provide financial stability throughout each year to keep ministry going and growing. We believe that this team of people will help sustain the ministry that takes place through YFCMV as well as provide a great foundation to expand into new territories.
For each $30 given per month, one young person in the counties in which we are currently serving, will have the opportunity to engage in a Campus Life gathering, participate in a small group or fun activity with peers and a trusted adult leader, and/or meet one on one with a trusted adult mentor. Whatever amount is given can also be designated towards a particular school district where we serve. If you would like to see Campus Life in a school district YFC is not currently serving, join this team to be a catalyst to start Campus Life in that community.
Why “Give Life 360”? Jesus said in John 10:10, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” It is YFC’s mission to introduce young people to the eternal LIFE that comes only through Jesus Christ. 360 represents the strategy YFC uses to reach young people through 3-story relationships (3-story relationships overlap God’s story, ours story and young people’s stories – illustrated by the 3 overlapping circles in our logo). 360 also represents the total dollar amount needed each year to support one student’s involvement in YFC which, broken down, is $30 per month.
Since 1944, we’ve had an unwavering commitment to meet 11-19 year olds in pivotal moments, and to introduce them to the hope of Christ. Young people face some of the most critical moments in their lives in the teen and pre-teen years; moments that can shape their entire story. We know how some of these pivotal moments shaped our own story when we were their age. We also know that young people experiencing these moments often feel overlooked and under-served, walking through their story without someone in their corner. YFC pursues young people who often feel that they don’t matter and builds relationships with them during these crucial times to help them find their way.
As part of the GL360 team, you will be:
- joining a team of like-minded people who want to be life changers
- be one of the first to hear stories of impacted lives
- receive an invitation to a Give Life 360 special event
- receive Give Life 360 exclusive swag
We are trusting God for 100 new Give Life 360 partners, which means engaging at least 100 additional students in the ministry of YFC. We are inviting those already on board to consider going to the next level of fully sponsoring at least one more student. And for those already heavily invested in this mission, we are inviting you to prayerfully consider who our next teammates will be and invite them to jump on board.
